A man indeed whom spent time in the presence of the Lord and receiving a deeper revelation into the name that was given to the savior of the world. At times I don't think we understand the power and heavy significance of that name. But in this book, Johnson by way of the Lord has indeed systematically laid out a manual that aides the mind of the reader to better appreciate the name of Jesus and why he chose to be close to humanity with nothing seperating us. I'm so glad to have known this man of the great God and even more to have been under his pastorate.
Immanuel God with Us and God for Us. For without us there could be no Immanuel for he came to save his people from their sins. As a Pastor, he taught effectively what he diligently and consistently studied regarding the name of Immanuel. So we know we see in this book, the sermons, bible classes, communion service messages and years of consistently study of God's word organized in a systematic theological manner regarding the Name of Jesus Christ as Immanuel with regard to its conception, goal and objective toward mankind, God's precious creation.
Other than God himself, I have not met anyone who could expound on the creation, design and objective of our savior as Immanuel in the world today and the world yet to come with his second coming. Bishop James A. Johnson a humble theologian has exhausted this subject for all to understand in the human capacity the Lord who was both Human and Divine. This book is a recommend treasured resource for all Ministers as well as Christians who want a better understanding of Jesus Christ as Immanuel.
